the life of a lake

Do you ever wonder what was here before Lake Lynn — or what might remain beneath its surface?

What might the lake have learned of people, of animals, of the growing city around it?

If the lake could speak, what would you ask it?

What do you want the lake to know about you?

about

The Lake Lynn Loop Trail is located in northwest Raleigh and connects the Lake Lynn Community Center to Lynn Road. This project includes the following improvements along the west side of the loop trail: rehabilitation of the trail, including a new base, new asphalt surface, trail widening, grading and drainage enhancements, improved access to and from adjacent communities, pavement markings, and pedestrian bridge replacement. The selected artist for this project is A Gang of Three. Stand-alone public art will be added as part of the Percent for Art program.
